CORE DRILLING – EQUIPMENT & EXPERTISE

  • Carl's Concrete Cutting & Drilling Inc.'s core drilling team features specialists who can attend to an industrial project. We understand that core drilling is typically used for utilities or pipes through concrete. 
  • Core drilling is also used for material testing, fencing, manhole taps, and enabling pipes to pass through deep concrete footing. 
  • Holes can be drilled on angles or inverted. 
  • Concrete core drill bits can range in diameter from 1/2 inch to 72 inches, and drilling depths are virtually unlimited with the use of extensions. 
  • Stitch drilling, holes drilled overlapping each other in line to create a larger opening, can also be done. This is sometimes used in the corners when wall sawing an opening to prevent over-cutting.
